While at Interbrand’s NYC office, I worked on updating the Girl Scouts look and launching the “I Can’t Wait To” campaign. The challenge was to create something that conveyed a new sort of energy and excitement that breaks out of the GS stereotypes and would appeal to both youth and potential adult volunteers—and something that could be implemented on a tight budget, while allowing maximum flexibility for each local chapter to use for their own advertising purposes. We utilized the Girl Scouts “trefoil” graphic and subdivided it into container shapes for bright colors, real and engaging photos, and energetic illustrations.
